How can i make my hair wavy?

i have straight her with a few flicks here and there so i striaghten it all the time although i used to have lovely wavy hair a whlie ago i have curlers(heat up ones but that makes it go curly not wavy and i also have rubber things that curl up but they are too heavy and too big for my hair .

please help

How can i make my hair wavy?

braid it while wet and leave it in overnight.

Take it out the next morning.

How can i make my hair wavy?

try products for wavy hair products like mousse ect.

How can i make my hair wavy?

use the heated rollers and then use a paddle brush through your hair slowly. or use ghd's and wrap the hair around them and the ends of your hair for natural waves. some products that you can put on when your hair is wet also help to

How can i make my hair wavy?

i do mine with tongs, grab thin section of hair at time and start at the bottom by wrapping hair around the tong prong, hope that makes sense.

Leave for al ittle while before you take the hair out, and spray immediately with hairspray after doing each section, ity holds it in for you, good luck.

How can i make my hair wavy?

Right- if you had lovely wavy hair, you made it straight by straightening it with straighteners- so it makes sense to use stop using them, and reverse the damadge you did by plaiting!

There are a number of ways to make youre hair wavy again- so im going to set you some guidelines (its up to you whether you follow them) that gaurantee youre hair to go wavy again:

1- STOP using the straighteners (not even once)!

2-ever night plait you're hair and in the morning it should be wavy!

3- after youve been plaiting youre hair for around a week use curlers for a night before youve gone to bed and see what condition youre hairs in by the morning (i.e. straight or wavy- this is just an experiment)

4-Carry on plaiting youre hair for as long as you feel, BUT do mini tests for a night- i.e. dont plait youre hair one night and see if its still wavy from when you did you're last plait!!!

5-Make sure you do the plaits TIGHT!

It may take a while (im no expert in hair) but this seems the logical way to get it wavy this may seem wierd but... Its like training youre hair to go wavy- just like you trained it to go straight with the straighteners!

How can i make my hair wavy?

The easiest and quickest way to put waves into your hair, is to wash, towel dry, get a really good moose, put your head upside down, and scrunch the moose into your hair. Flick hair back and continue to scrunch your hair all over, it doesn't matter too much, and just leave scrunch now and then where you think you need it. You will get a natural wavy look when dry.

How can i make my hair wavy?

well a very good product to make your hair wavy is the brand called "aussie" it works well for any type of hairstyle.

but also you could use a one inch curlers. they make my hair very wavy.

at night after showering. put your hair in buns depending on the thickness.

I want to perm my hair...?

I want to perm it so it has big curls. My hair is already curly, but this would even it out. Are there any natural kind of perms you can get? Does it ruin your hair if you get a chemical one?

I want to perm my hair...?

shave your head and buy wigs so you can change hair styles all the time

I want to perm my hair...?

I wouldn't try a chemical one.... try straightening your hair, then curling it with a large curler. If it doesn't work, talk to a hair specialist.

I want to perm my hair...?

Since your hair is curly already its just gonna make your hair frizzy. If you do decide to get s perm make sure you get the biggest rods possible put in otherwise because your hair is naturally curly this usually means your hair will curl faster and better with a chemical.Make sure they check it every few minutes you could get too much curl if not checked enough.

I would nt do it if i were you why not just use a curling iron? I realize it takes longer but it may be better for your hair.

I want to perm my hair...?

my sister had a perm and it totally ruined her hair

My hair is a big wavy mess HELP!!?

my hair is brown and is never looking nice for school. I only ever wear a pony tail. That gets boring. Its layered a bit at the back with layers at the front. I have a side frindge! any ideas?

My hair is a big wavy mess HELP!!?

Get it cut to show off the natural waves. It may need some texturizing.

Some people pay big bucks to try to have thick, wavy hair. Be grateful you have it and work it, baby!

My hair is a big wavy mess HELP!!?

umm...

straighten it?

My hair is a big wavy mess HELP!!?

wavy?

use a diffuser on your blowdryer.

it will make the waves look wonderful.

try some curl spray, like tigi catwalk, curls rock.

work the curls girl!

My hair is a big wavy mess HELP!!?

same with me! haha

i just wear it down

i learned to love my curls

My hair is a big wavy mess HELP!!?

try buying special shampoo for curly hair. it'll defrizz and help control your hair.

My hair is a big wavy mess HELP!!?

Use Oil, it is called Silk or something like that. I use it to control mine also.

My hair is a big wavy mess HELP!!?

my hair is to try to perm it strait.

My hair is a big wavy mess HELP!!?

Try to do half up. You can pin the front up so it kinda has a puff. Or split bangs to the side with half the pony tail curled.

My hair is a big wavy mess HELP!!?

If yourr hair is wavy, make sure you dont brush it when it is dry or it will get really poofy. Also, showering and sleeping on it helps me reduce frizz, so that might help you too.

My hair is a big wavy mess HELP!!?

Go to a salon or a beauty college, find a style you like and stick with it on your own, but then what do I know, Im bald....

My hair is a big wavy mess HELP!!?

straightening is always a good idea.

You could also try what i try. I have the same type of hair and on mornings when i don't have enough time I

quick ly scrunch it or

make a side part and a neat low bun or pony tail in the back

good luck

My hair is a big wavy mess HELP!!?

You could try a straightener or a hair curler if you want more refined curls than waves. You could also use stuff like hair cream that eliminates frizz, or try some anti-poof shampoo and conditioner. i hope that helps!

My hair is a big wavy mess HELP!!?

Go to the salon and talk to someone who can get you a special brush for calming down wavy hair. I have one an I works amazingly. Try new hairstyles, too like down, with your fringe pulled back in a barette or something. I personally love my wavy hair, and I'm sure you just can't appreciate the beauty of your hair because it can be annoying sometimes.

My hair is a big wavy mess HELP!!?

i have wavy hair too. i dont like it at all. i straighten it for school. but on weekends i usually wear it wavy

:]

My hair is a big wavy mess HELP!!?

how about u just go to a hair salon and ask a nice pearson working there what can he/she do to improve you're look. Or u could just ask a parent or bff, becouse they will tell u the truth.

My hair is a big wavy mess HELP!!?

Acutally yes, im think of dieing and cutting that hair of yours. You need to find a very nice blond and a regular blong. Start with the blong at the top and as it goes down it gets darker and it turns into that nice brown. One of my Gymantics coach has that down to her hair and it looks awsome. And you may be thinking why do i have to cut my hair i don't want to cut my hair. Well the answere to your qeustion is i have seen alot of girls that have had terrible hair and the cut it and it grows out very pretty and nice and different. Now go to a perfessional to get all of this done. And you can pick how you want to get your hair cut. GOOD LUCK i home it comes out just as pretty as my coach's.

My hair is a big wavy mess HELP!!?

yes put your curlers in straight afther washing it with a self perming dog shampoo then put a hainet on an go to bed then in morning when you wake up gently remove curlers an you'll have a lovely suprise but use your fingers instead of a come afther removing curlers i know it works because ive been doing it for years side effects are hair starts to grow quicker an worse side effect animals start to fall in love with you but otherwise it stops the balding process

How Do I Make My Horse's Hair Grow Faster?

I have a grey paint/pinto and she has black thick hair. I know how to make her tail grow faster by braiding the bottom to make it heavier and not break as much and I has really worked. But then I tried it to her forlock because it was short and she was rubbing it off. I left the braid in for a day, took it out the next and two big chunks of hair came out. Now that showing season is coming around and her fore-lock isn't growing at all! I need some help out there, this is the only down side to my cute little horsie and I can't seem to find a solution to this problem. I did hear that something like brushing their hair can stimulate its growth or something like that but I'm not sure. Can anyone give me some insight here?

How Do I Make My Horse's Hair Grow Faster?

The first thing I would do is NOT brush your horse's hair every day. Brushing your horses hair is fine maybe once every two or three days, but brushing too much can often result in breaking the hair and pulling it out, rather than stimulating it to grow faster. Also, try to avoid turning your horse out with its mane, tail, or forelock braided. Often the hair will get caught on fencing, brush, or other objects that could tear it out.

A friend of mine would put an Indian remedy called Neem Oil on her horse's hair, and it seemed to help, but I'm not sure where she got it and I've since moved barns and don't keep in contact with her anymore. I've heard that almond oil works well also.

One fourth a clove of garlic (finely chopped) in your horse's feed should help to keep it shiny, and I've heard that it also helps it to grow though it may just be a rumor.

There is also a brand of shampoo from Garnier Fructice that I put on my Quarter Horse gelding's mane and tail when I got him (his former owner had trimmed his mane and tail very very short). It seemed to help it grow faster, in only one month his mane went from about four inches long to about seven inches. The shampoo and conditioner is called Garnier Fructice Long %26amp; Strong, and you should be able to get it from your local wal-mart or other department store.

I hope I helped, good luck with showing this year. :)

How Do I Make My Horse's Hair Grow Faster?

Alot of people swear by MTG,

How Do I Make My Horse's Hair Grow Faster?

You cannot make its hair grow any faster no matter what you do...........

How Do I Make My Horse's Hair Grow Faster?

I don't know about making her forelock grow any faster, however perhaps conditioning it and brushing it routinely will help strengthen and stimulate it.

If this, or anything else, doesn't work in time for showing, and her forelock is still ratty/disfunctional, perhaps just incorperating it into her shaved bridle path would work. I don't know how bad it is, but if it falling apart, shaving might be the solution to let the hair grow back fresh later.

How Do I Make My Horse's Hair Grow Faster?

The more you brush it the thinner it will get. Ditto to plaiting it!

The forelock is often thin and slow growing and I have never found anything other than time cures it. When I had driving horses I used to 'borrow' a little extra hair from a matching mane or tail and fix it under the forelock for a show.

How Do I Make My Horse's Hair Grow Faster?

I would recommend getting some Shapely's MTG (Mane-Tail-Groom) and follow the directions on the bottle. Just clean the forelock and "scalp" (crest) with a sponge in warm water with a squirt of baby oil in the water. If the forelock does get tangled use your fingers to pick out each hair instead of brushing or combing it. If the follicles of the forelock are itchy spray on a mixture of Listerine and Avon skin so soft (50/50) on the follicle itself not the actual forelock to kill anything that might be making it itchy and to condition the scalp. Just give it some time and try not to mess with it too much and it should grow. If it doesn閳ユ獩 grow in a few months sadly your pony might be going thin in at area.

How Do I Make My Horse's Hair Grow Faster?

Don't brush it. I don't brush my horse's mane unless they are tangled. Brushing breaks the hair.

I also use MTG every time I'm at the barn, on both of their manes. My horse's mane has grown about 4 inches and doubled in thickness in the 3 months I've been using it regularly.

It works for a bunch of other things too.

http://shapleys.com/products_view.aspx?a...

How Do I Make My Horse's Hair Grow Faster?

A product called M.T.G. by Shapley's. It's so good, humans use it on themselves.

Has such a following the company has expanded it's line to include people products. I'll tell you right up front that there's an issue with the odor.

You'd think that working around horses, there wouldn't be many finicky noses. It's NOT an unpleasant smell, kind of bacony-barbeque-y. I've used it on my mare who's a dedicated itch scratcher, mane stands up like a zebras' from being rubbed off.

Got myself a bottle of Shapley's; itch stopped; hair is growing!

It was invented by a barber back in the 1920's-30's and it's still here 'cuz it works. Read directions and follow them. Good luck.

How Do I Make My Horse's Hair Grow Faster?

The only thing that I have found to work is good old Biotin added into the feeds - this promotes hair growth and hoof health and we use it for my daughter's pony who suffers with sweet itch and was constantly scratching his mane and tail off.

Also you can add oil to the feed for a good shine.

Brushing it won't help - it will just cause more breakage.

How Do I Make My Horse's Hair Grow Faster?

yes, MTG works like a miracle.........

How Do I Make My Horse's Hair Grow Faster?

I don't think there is a way, like you can't make human hair grow faster. Though brushing it and taking good care of the horse is the right key.

so i used Loreal Color fix and then it came out with red and orange at the top and it's just a big mess. My hair's really long and i have to dye over it again to get it anything CLOSE to normal but i just want to know if it will ever go back to my natural light brown? %26amp; if it does- in how long? because i never shouldve dyed it in the first place.

Help!my hair originally was light brown but i dyed it plum (bleh i know), and then it came out really ugly ..?

i dunno try washing it alot with dish soap... it helped wash hideous purple in my hair in like less than a week... but then try and dye it a color thats really close to ur natural

Help!my hair originally was light brown but i dyed it plum (bleh i know), and then it came out really ugly ..?

Well, it'll only go back to your natural color once it all grows out...which will take awhile. Since your hair is really long, it make take a couple years for you to get enough growth to replace the dyed hair. Make sure you eat a balanced diet and drink 8-10 glasses of water per day so you give your hair nutrients to grow. I don't think your hair will ever fade enough for it to go back to the original color.

Help!my hair originally was light brown but i dyed it plum (bleh i know), and then it came out really ugly ..?

This is one of those situations when you need the help of a professional colorist at a salon. The more you try to do on your own at home will only damage your hair. At the salon tell them everything you have done to your hair color, attempts at stripping the color, any and all products you use. A professional colorist should be able to get you back to your original color without further damaging your hair.

it will go away in a few days your hair has too mush body in it use lots of conditioner then rinse well and the next day wash normal probably with no conditioner then it should be fine. too much conditioner ruins the hair and should only be used when needed or people with corse hair can use often....

tie it up until you can go home and fix it

Press and curl from a salon or mabey a perm!

Am white and my little girl has a black dad so her hair is big and mad help what do i do with her hair?

I think that's cute because she represents the perfect blend of you and the person you love. I would leave it natural, or have it braided. Cornrows might be too painful for her.

Am white and my little girl has a black dad so her hair is big and mad help what do i do with her hair?

You didn't say anything about the father - perhaps you could ask his mother or sisters for help. If, for whatever reason, you and the father aren't talking, and you have black co-workers, ask them to refer you to a good hairdresser. When you go to the hairdresser, don't be afraid of asking about products you can use (and avoid!), and watch what she does.

Am white and my little girl has a black dad so her hair is big and mad help what do i do with her hair?

My granddaughter is blond with wild curly hair. She is very touchy about people telling her her hair is wild or big-She has wonderful beautiful hair, but sometimes it is out of whack.

The suggestion to take her to a salon that knows how to do black people hair, is a good one.

Meantime, use detangler by the bucket, and a gentle hand. Teach her (by not complaining) that she is gorgeous and has a real gift.

Try really hard not to pull her hair and be as sweet and gentle as you can be. TEach her to adore her hair, and not be constantly dying, whacking it off or otherwise denying who she is.

good luck :)

My hair is very big, HELP!!!!?

my hair gets very "poofy" wen it dries once i take a shower, unless i put a hat on and get hat head, my hair cutter recommended using "bed head control freak" anyone know anyhting about it?

My hair is very big, HELP!!!!?

Great Product.. I love Bed Head.

My hair is very big, HELP!!!!?

oh yeh, bed head products are generally really useful and good.

Get some and see cos they usually have a great smell aswell.

Good luck, your hair sounds groovy, x

My hair is very big, HELP!!!!?

Sunsilk makes shampoo and conditioner called "no more poof" It's awesome! It comes in a blue bottle. They also have this cream also called "no more poof" and its awesome too. Use that with a little bit of gel and there ya go!

My hair is very big, HELP!!!!?

Use conditioner and blowdry it before you go to bed. That helped my husband.

My hair is very big, HELP!!!!?

Thats awsum. i use it once in a while and i come from a line of afros. lol or you can bog it down with conditioner so at least when its poofy it looks like a style and not a fro'.

My hair is very big, HELP!!!!?

yeah bed head is good but before styling try blowdrying your hair from the top not the bottem. good luck

My hair is very big, HELP!!!!?

try matrix sleek. i love it

My hair is very big, HELP!!!!?

when you get out of the shower you should blow dry it but put some friz out serum on it it works like a charm....it will help it not be as poofy.....good luck and blowdrying it then make sure u brush it while blow drying it will also help tame it.

My hair is very big, HELP!!!!?

Hi, you could try that product, but why dont you first try a smoothing shampoo and conditioner like Pantenes Smooth and Sleek. And try and letit dry on its own, If you use hair dryer this could be making it worse. Im not sure weather bed head control freak works as if its just like a Gel or Cream you put in your hair, sometimes they then make it look too flat, or look like you have not washed your hair in days.

I would try mousse though. Shockwaves have brought a good one out, Called Tame It ! its the only one Ive used in years that actually makes my hair straight and frizz free after blowdrying, So if your hair isnt frizzy all the time after you blow dry, Just a littl too much volume, then this should be perfect for you, especailly if it works for my fluffy uncontrolable poof ball head.

Super big perm...will it give me jessica simpson hair??

I have very long hair (all the way down my back) and i dont have hardly ANY natural wave or curl...im not willing to part with it..so cutting it off to lose the weight from it isn't an option...anyhow i want to have that sexy full hair with lots of body and curls (think Jessica Simpson). i can get this wth a curling iron but that takes HOURS!! so i was wondering if its possible to get a really big perm (i have side swept bangs that i want to stay straight) and if so...how would i style it without it looking frizzy

Super big perm...will it give me jessica simpson hair??

perm style and curling iron style never be the same.

it could be similar, tho.

maybe you want get a little layered and thinned down - otherwise, you gonna get a big head!

get big wave - make sure that they have big rods, like 3/4 diameter or bigger, maybe?? if they have long one, that's even better!! but its also how to wind and choice of chemical, time etc effect....

Plus, i don't know which Jessica Simpson style!

you want to have a photo with you when you go to the salon.

styling is easy.

wash, towel dry, put some wax or mousse.

naturally dry it.

Super big perm...will it give me jessica simpson hair??

If you resort to a perm, make sure and use really big rods, if you use the small ones, you will end up with a very kinky curl. The bigger the rod the more "jessica simpson" it will turn out. As for the bangs, do not roll them on rods or put perm solution on them, leave them straight! Good luck!

Super big perm...will it give me jessica simpson hair??

I went to a reputable hair salon asking for the same thing. I as well have long straight hair. I went in with pictures and everything and my perm turned out TERRIBLE! My head was a big ball of frizz and was impossible to work with. I went back a couple days later because I was so unhappy and it took the lead stylist almost 2 hours to get my hair to look big and curly without the friz. It has taken so long to get my hair back to a healthy state because I refused to cut the length off.

I'm sorry if this is discouraging, but I really was in the same situation as you. I have had long hair forever and always want something different. It has been over a year since my perm and I still regret the decision to get it.

Super big perm...will it give me jessica simpson hair??

I would not do the perm but maybe entertain the thought of a body wave. Its similar to a perm but not as damaging and not as tight. I did this a few years back for the same reason as you and I was pleased with it. When you do a perm you have the growth where your roots are not permed and the rest is so it can be nasty. With the body wave I didn't have that bc I never had much more than a wave that helped me hold curl like never before. I could blow it out if I wanted my sleek straight hair back.

Also FYI....Jessica Simpson almost ALWAYS has extensions of some sort in her hair to give it the full body look. Her clip in extensions actually work well so check those out as well.

Hair falling out big time...?

Im 34 %26amp; had a baby nearly 5 months ago. before i got pregnant, my hair used to fall out badly, during pregnancy it stopped completely.

Since giving birth, its back with a vengance, its that bad when i take a bath, i can't lift my arms out of the water without them being drapsed with hair. It blocks up plughole too.

Does anyone know what/why this is happening, %26amp; does this happen to you? i dont take any medication of any sort.

thanks in advance.

Hair falling out big time...?

Mine is doing exactly the same fell out before none during pregency now falling out even more. I found a web site the says it is normal, explained why it does it, which is nothing to do with diet and will right itself when the baby is between 6 to 12 months old, hope it does or else ill be bold.

Hair falling out big time...?

Maybe your diet isnt right, you could be malnurished or just not eating enough. Sometimes anemia can cause hair loss.

Hair falling out big time...?

Hormones. Pregnancy woul have leveled them out for you, now it's over seems like they've unbalanced themselves again. Go see you Dr.

It must be hormonal if it stopped whilst you were pregnant. I'd go and see your GP if I were you. Get it checked out.

Hair falling out big time...?

You might have a hormone imbalance. It is common for such problems to stop during pregnancy seen as your hormone levels are different. Make sure ure eating lots of protein as this will help new growth of hair and help repair damaged hair!If your still worried go to teh doctors as this will put ure mind at rest!

Hair falling out big time...?

You were probably on prenatal vitamins while pregnant. You should probably have a blood panel done to check thyroid levels and iron levels either of which can make your hair fall out. Also, hyper vitamin-osis, the taking of too many supplements and vitamins can cause alopecia, or hair loss. Check with your Dr. Most people do not need a daily vitamin or any supplements if they eat properly. Some who do not retain potassium, iron and such do need it. Good luck.

Hair falling out big time...?

there's a good chance that it is hormones but it might have something to do with diet

Hair falling out big time...?

It does fall out quite badly in some women after giving birth.

My daughter started losing hair quite badly when she was just 3 years old, I took her to a trichologist (hair specialist) who told me that she had weight alopecia (hair loss). If your hair is too long it can cause it to fall out because the weight of the long hair is too much. If your hair is long, try having it cut a bit shorter.

If this doesn't work either speak to your pharmacist or go and see your GP.

Hair falling out big time...?

This often happens in reverse of what happened to you. I agree hormones are probably involved, but that doesn't necessarily mean it can't be helped.

Good nutrition, taking biotin (a B vitamin), getting your thyroid checked to make sure it's not contributing are thoughts. Best to see your MD.

PS%26gt;%26gt; Wow. Never heard of a trichologist. Sounds cool, though.

Hair falling out big time...?

it might be 2 things,

1. your hair is too healthy,,

2. you are under stress.

My hair is below my shoulders (like 2 inches)?

how big should the hair straightner be

1 inch or 1.5 inches

and why?

My hair is below my shoulders (like 2 inches)?

It doesn't really matter. Generally, though, you will get straighter hair if you use the smaller flat iron because you will spend more time and be more meticulous about doing it. However, if you can, it is nice to have a bigger iron for the day when you are running late.

My hair is below my shoulders (like 2 inches)?

1 inch

My hair is below my shoulders (like 2 inches)?

1.5, for when it grows out.

My hair is below my shoulders (like 2 inches)?

Face it, you've got a femullate!

My hair is below my shoulders (like 2 inches)?

go with the 1.5 unless you want to be able to curl your hair and flip the ends... for that go with the 1 inch. I have short hair just below my chin and i have used both the 1inch is better on the shorter hair unless you want to do more than just straighten

My hair is below my shoulders (like 2 inches)?

I would say a bigger size because the smaller sizes are for shorter, thin hair.

My hair is below my shoulders (like 2 inches)?

it really doesnt matter all that much. but a ceramic straightner is best and less damaging to the hair!

HAIRDRESSERS and HAIR EXPERTS ONLY! BIG PROBLEM!?

Ok, im a natural dark blonde, i bleeched my hair, it was fine, a month later i decided to go brown, it turned out black...i hated it, a couple of days later i bleeched it again, and loads of it turned out redddy color and i had left some on too long in foils that some hair started to fall out, so i bleeched it again this morning and now its turned out orange...all this dye is soooo bad for my hair...and im only 13 years old! I want to get rid of this orange color, but i don't want to have to dye my hair again incase it all falls out...i was thinking about toner! I NEEEEEED HELPPPPP!!!

HAIRDRESSERS and HAIR EXPERTS ONLY! BIG PROBLEM!?

unfortunately you will need to dye your hair because of the chemicals already on you hair go to the hairdressers, i know your only 13 and it will be a big bill try and see if your parents will pay if you pay them back. DONT DO ANYTHING ELSE TO YOUR HAIR. let a professional do it

HAIRDRESSERS and HAIR EXPERTS ONLY! BIG PROBLEM!?

Honey, I would suggest going to a salon. They can probably correct it using non permanent hair colour as your hair is now clearly damaged, more permanent colour is just not a good idea.

HAIRDRESSERS and HAIR EXPERTS ONLY! BIG PROBLEM!?

I'd really recommend going to a hairsalon, and using an intensive protein treatment like L'anza Trauma Treatment to restore the condition of it. I'd recommend that you visit a salon, telling them what you have used as this is something you can't fix yourself.

HAIRDRESSERS and HAIR EXPERTS ONLY! BIG PROBLEM!?

Why not leave ur hair NATURAL, all these chemicals people use just makes your hair unhealthy and long term effects are falling out of hair and damaging, its all got to do with Money, Hair companies just want to make Money thats all , you can naver change what is natural, its all schemes, they seduce the people in thinking you can do this %26amp; that but fact is there always consequences, its best to leave ur hair natural or i can say use Mendi, its sort of colour which does NOT damage ur hair or anything, its an Asian hair colour product made from natural resources, ask somone about MEHNDI for hair, trust me.Bur let ur hair grow out of the Colour and it be aight, just wear a hat or something meanwhile bu the collour will grow our, shampoo ur hair nicely lol oooooooohhhhhhhh. lamo.

HAIRDRESSERS and HAIR EXPERTS ONLY! BIG PROBLEM!?

you need to go to a salon and have your hair stripped, all the color will be stripped out and then it should be your natural color, it will look a little orange but your natural color will come back and after you get it stripped have them put a treatment of armenhamor in your hair and it will help your hair so it wont be damaged anymore...then have them put a base color on if you want but thats up to you, dont ever go from light to dark on your own unless you know your hair will take it.

HAIRDRESSERS and HAIR EXPERTS ONLY! BIG PROBLEM!?

I am a stylist and specialize in color. Unfortunately, you are going to need to go to the salon. If you are losing hair now, it means that you have severely destroyed your hair's cuticle. Without an expert watching, I would not do a thing more to yourself, as your hair is coming out from the bleach already. Your hair needs protein treatments to rebuild the hair so that it doesn't break when it is fixed. I would recommend that you also get a nice haircut too, as the ends of any of your hair that have split too, will continue to split up the entire hair shaft at this point, leaving you with even more noticeable breakage. Good luck. Feel free to email me any more questions. I think this is something that every girl does once in their life. don't worry, you hair can be fixed, but definitely by a professional at this point.

HAIRDRESSERS and HAIR EXPERTS ONLY! BIG PROBLEM!?

Hey There! I have a many hair dramas in my days! Bleaching is by far the worse thing to do to your hair and can only damage it! I would avoid doing this ever again! Highlights are the way to go to lighten your hair if you do want a lighter look. A toner may help get rid of that brassy orange colour BUT i would suggest thta you DO NOT do anything else to it yourself! It may cost a bit, but I can tell you it is worth it to go get it done by a professional. Also, research who you go to... get refrences, ask them if they have ever done this before, ask to see a portfolio if they have one. I would go to someone who works a well known salon and from experience I find people who have been trained in more modern techniques can deal with problems like this easier, some old school hairdressers although good have not been exposed to much of this and deal better with cuts and styles rather than damage control more new trendy techniques. Also, I know it can be tempting to totally revamp your look and make dramatic changes to your color, but I can tell you that subtle changes can make a world of difference, and maintain the health of your hair. I whent from white blond to a dark brown a few years ago, I used to blech aswell and my hair is so much healthier now since is is closer to my natural colour. Anoothe rbenefit to subtle colur changes is roots don't show up as quick, so easier and cheaper to maintain. When I do want a bolder change I do like I said a do high or low lights to cause less damage. Good luck with this, and go get a well trained hairdresser or colorist to help you out. Also take care of your hair, invest in a good shamppo and conditioner to rebulid strength and keep soft and keep moisture in it! I am going to be going into hairdressing as a career so I know that they know their stuff better than the average person does!

HAIRDRESSERS and HAIR EXPERTS ONLY! BIG PROBLEM!?

well the only thing i can come up with is GO TO A PROFESSIONAL SALON ASAP!!!! YOUR HAIR IS IN SERIOUS DAMAGE. my mom is a stylist, so i know these things, trust me!!

HAIRDRESSERS and HAIR EXPERTS ONLY! BIG PROBLEM!?

Ok! calm down!!

The only reason your hair fell out was it was left in the foil with all the chemicals too long and really damaged it alot. The rest of your hair should be ok.

The red is here to stay. If you try to go blond it will still be brassy. You will need to go red or brown. This is going to add color to your hair and cover up the red tone you have now.

After you go either red or brown condition condition condition. You have really damaged your hair but it can recover just get the ends trimed and leave it to recover for a month or so.

Good luck.

HAIRDRESSERS and HAIR EXPERTS ONLY! BIG PROBLEM!?

GO TO THE HAIRDRESSERS NOW!!!!!!!!

HAIRDRESSERS and HAIR EXPERTS ONLY! BIG PROBLEM!?

ok the first thing to do is STOP!! No one should dye there hair even twice in 3days let alone dying it day after day.. and bleach, especially a 13 year old! ( aahhh!! )..... Best thing and only thing i would advise is dont wash your hair for two days, put a hat on and on go to a hair salon and show them the damage, if you dont do this then please just keep this in mind you WONT be able to get the hair colour you want or get the products to go in your hair that your hair NEEDS! if you have a 'Q' yo my 'A' then Email me. .but either way GOOD LUCK! xBx

Hair help....?

i have BIG, blonde, FRIZZY hair!!!!!!! i ordered a chi straightener from ebay and it's on its way-- will this help?? what other products are good to use b4 %26amp; after straightening? or are there any shampoos/conditioners that work? i've tried dangerously straight herbal essences but that pretty much did the opposite...and i've tried purple sunsilk that also said it is "silk straight" but that didn't work either!! what works?!

Hair help....?

I have blonde highlighted frizzy hair, it's very thick, I use Aussie products for shampoo and conditioner (mega shampoo and miracle moist conditioner) followed by l'oreal hot straight, then blow dry straight with a ceramic circular brush, then straighten, then finish with Charles Worthington's finishing shine spray, or Frizz Ease 'secret agent' It's long winded but i find it great for the condition of my hair. If you can find it (and I can't) neutrogena's clean leave in conditioner is great. Oh and 3 minute miracle from Frizz Ease twice a week to stop it getting dry. Cost's me a fortune, but looks great - good luck!!!!

Hair help....?

I have the same problem! And I have no idea what works. Maybe brushing it 60 million times?

Hair help....?

chi is the best straightener you can get, you did well wth buying that brand and it will work , just make sure you use a spray starch before you use the hot iron on your hair, they have all sort of sprays at walmrt or a beauty supply

Hair help....?

Try shikakai shampoo.

Hair help....?

Use a frizz control hairspray.they really work

Hair help....?

My hair is the same, but brown; I use the Matrix line of Straightening shampoo, and I use a Chi iron- works GREAT!

I suggest you use Biosilk hair serum; it adds a touch of oil to your hair (so don't use too much!!!) but it will calm the frizz; Use some on your wet hair before using the straightener to protect your hair from the heat, afterwards to control frizz. A good cut will also work wonders...Mine is long (about mid back) but I have it cut into gradual layers to minimize the dead ends as much as possible. The Chi iron will fry your hair, so you need to get regular trims.

DO NOT use straight iron spray unless you like stiff hair. Straightening shampoos will not work alone, you must use a straightener or blow dryer also.

Hair help....?

Yes Chi straightners are one of the best out there. Are you using conditioner? Use some everytime you shower. I also use leave-in conditioner in the morning after I style my hair.

Hair help....?

Tried Redken Glas 1? Smooths out my hair.

Costs $11.00 or so, depends on size.

Hair help....?

Honey you get what you pay for... I hate to tell people that but it is very true.... Paul Mitchell sells Super Skinny shampoo / conditioner/ frizz serum.. A whole line to tame frizz. Matrix has sleek look shampoo/ conditioner / serum and flat iron spray.

I myself would use the PM shamp/ cond and super skinny serum. In combination with the Matrix flat iron protectant spray.

The super skinny serum can be used on wet or dry hair which is nice. It nice because it doesnt take a whole lot, just a dime sized amount on your ends is ususally sufficient unless its really reallly bad.

Hair help....?

Try the Back to Basics brnad of shampoo. It a little pricey and you can get it at proffesional hair products stores but i have the kind in the brown bottle and it works good

Hair help....?

The CHI straightner really does work. It straightens your hair in minutes, even if you have really really thick hair. For products I really recomend the CHI silk infusion oil. It makes your hair really really smooth. It comes in a tiny bottle and costs aproxitmatly 10$. You only have to use a little bit. If you use too much it will make your hair oily. (its in a oil form) This is the stuff the salons use, it will smell like you just came out of the salon, thats why.

How do you get a big uckly knot out of your hair?

I have this big knot in the back of my hair and it keeps growing i cant get it out.

How do you get a big uckly knot out of your hair?

I'll tell you my secret if you promise not to tell anyone. All the answers on here are good ones but I suspect that you have already tried conditioner and leave-ins. Use Downey Fabric Softener. Don't worry, it won't do a thing but get the tangle out. All Downey is is water softener and fragrance so while it won't condition your hair, it will get the tangles out. I use it just like a creme rinse and have it in a spray bottle for when clients come in with matted hair. Nothing works better. Put it on your hair, let it sit for a minute or two to saturate the matt all the way through then starting from the bottom of the tangle start working the tangle out either with a comb or your fingers. If it's really big, it may take a while but it will come out. You can use Downey when you shampoo as a rinse but it won't condition it so use a conditioner too.

How do you get a big uckly knot out of your hair?

get it cut or go to a professional

How do you get a big uckly knot out of your hair?

put conditioner on it NOW.. after 5 minutes untangle the know. good luck =]]

How do you get a big uckly knot out of your hair?

take a brush and put it in your hair and brush it is that easy enough for you

How do you get a big uckly knot out of your hair?

Try a detangling spray and a vent brush.

How do you get a big uckly knot out of your hair?

Try rubbing conditioner directly on it. Don't worry about it making your hair greasy, you can wash it later. Use your fingers or a comb to try to work it out. It it keeps getting knotted pull it back in a braid or something when you sleep.

How do you get a big uckly knot out of your hair?

scissors!!!!! next time be sure to use a good conditioner and comb it out afterwards.

How do you get a big uckly knot out of your hair?

lube it up with conditioner and comb it from the bottom working upwards as you go while combing downward I have the same problem with my horses tail...

How do you get a big uckly knot out of your hair?

Rub conditioner on, quick before it gets worse! I used to have the same problem, OMG, it dorve me crazy. All u have to do is rub un just a little conditioner on. If that dont work, go straight to the detangler! I find Loreal Kids the best (I know its for kids, but its CRAZY awesome!) Just spray and comb thru. Good luck!

How do you get a big uckly knot out of your hair?

Wash your hair and put conditioner in it. Leave the conditioner in and comb the very ends of your hair with a very fine-tooth comb. Start from the bottom and work your way up. You might want to start with the sides and work at freeing individual strands. Try and get your mom or a friend to help you, if possible. As you free strand after strand of hair, the knot will get smaller and smaller until it is eventually gone. Keep the conditioner in your hair, because the conditioner makes the hairs more slippery and therefore more likely to slip out of the tangle. This might take a couple of hours, but it is definately worth it.

DO NOT do what my dad did when I was 9: He cut a huge tangle out of my long hair while my mom was out shopping. I looked ridiculous with the whole bottom part of my hair missing, and we had to cut it to chin-length.

I hope I helped!

After I wash my hair it turns really poofy. How do I control the big poof?

I have to straighten my hair since it is so poofy. I think i will need something that will help my hair not be so dryed up. It also has a lot of split ends. It is just the worst thing ever!

After I wash my hair it turns really poofy. How do I control the big poof?

sleep on it. seriously. the poof goes down!!!

After I wash my hair it turns really poofy. How do I control the big poof?

Sunsilk anti-frizz hair creme works really nicely for my permed hair. Try the anti-poof in the blue bottle, i know there is a leave in cream for that one too. I like it..

After I wash my hair it turns really poofy. How do I control the big poof?

Use a conditioner!!!...or, don't wash your hair!!!

After I wash my hair it turns really poofy. How do I control the big poof?

If I were you I would use redken smooth down 3 in 1. This contains the shampoo, conditioner and leave in conditioner. treatment. I too have unruly poofy hair and this stuff gives me a sleek smooth shine everytime.

After I wash my hair it turns really poofy. How do I control the big poof?

Try using Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine shampoo. Also, straightening your hair is probably making it worse. Your should probably leave it natural a few days out of the week, and even let it air dry sometimes, to avoid heat damage.

After I wash my hair it turns really poofy. How do I control the big poof?

Sunsilk makes an anti-poof shampoo i used it and let it air dry

and it didn't poof at all i was very happy to get the poof gone to

get rid of the split ends go to your hair salon and get a trim also ask your hairlady how to prevent split ends.

After I wash my hair it turns really poofy. How do I control the big poof?

Put a frizz serum/lotion in it after you've towel dried it. That should keep a lot of the poof down and moisture from locking into your hair.

Also try using good shampoos and conditioners meant for taming the beast we call frizzy hair. Lots of lines now carry products meant to control moisture, and poofyness.

Good luck!

After I wash my hair it turns really poofy. How do I control the big poof?

You need hair products with silicone properties like Frizz Ease, Silk Elements and sleeking shampoos, love.

After I wash my hair it turns really poofy. How do I control the big poof?

use a lot of conditioner on your hair and leave in treatment.. also after you sleep its true your hair does go down or reduce the frizziness a bit!! use lots of gloss and serums and get regular trims! that would help with the split ends

After I wash my hair it turns really poofy. How do I control the big poof?

i agree w/ the sleeping on it thing; i have curly hair and it works wonders to go to sleep w/ wet hair. also, getting a haircut can probably help this out; get rid of the split ends, and have your hairdresser put layers in it. finally, make sure to use conditioner, rinse it out well, and follow up w/ a moisturizing cream like garnier's smoothing milk.

there's also stuff like hot oil treatments and putting avocado in your hair that helps moisturize it really well, too.

After I wash my hair it turns really poofy. How do I control the big poof?

i have the same exact problem so hopefully these answers will help me too. and when you sleep on it, the poof DOESNT go down. its sooo annoying

After I wash my hair it turns really poofy. How do I control the big poof?

Frizz Ease serum..is the best.

After I wash my hair it turns really poofy. How do I control the big poof?

get yourself some V05 hot oil treatment it works wonders

After I wash my hair it turns really poofy. How do I control the big poof?

My hair used to be poofy but it is now trained thanks to a few good productsand air drying. Some of my favs are listed below:

-TCB Lite Scalp %26amp; Oil Hair Conditioning (it's grease lol)

-Hawaiian Silky Dry Oil Moisturizer (this is only good if you dont intend to curl your hair as this product is intended for jheri curls but it leave the hair soft and silky.

-African Essence Oil of Essence (black and gold bottle-smells great)

-IC Hair Polisher Heat Protector Straghtening Serum (In a Pink Bottle)

-Kemy Oil (expensive but worth it.

If you want to see what these items look like before you hit the local beauty supply go to www.gigibeauty.com

For more help try www.longhaircareforum.com

I would also suggesting getting those split ends trimmed; will help your hair grow and stop the splitting. As someone who hates to see any of her hair cut I know this is a hard concept to follow but it will help :-)

Your hair will be back on track before you know it.

After I wash my hair it turns really poofy. How do I control the big poof?

get some sunsilk stuff you can get it at wal-mart and it is in a green bottle

After I wash my hair it turns really poofy. How do I control the big poof?

The Sunsilk in the blue bottles are for poofy hair. They have Shampoo, Conditioner and a 24/7 creme. You can go to www.sunsilk.com and they will send you a free sample of all 3 products so you can see if it will work for you.

After I wash my hair it turns really poofy. How do I control the big poof?

Thats how my hair used to be..

lately i've been using several different product.

They are kinda spendy but totally worth it.

Pureology Antifade complex- Shine Max

Pureology Antifade complex- Super Straight

Biolage- Thermal active setting spray

once you've washed your hair, brush through it.

Apply two drops of the shine max to damp hair, Then apply the Super straight, right before you blow dry your hair give it a few sprays of the thermal spray.

Blow dry your hair. Once done give your hair a few more sprays of the thermal spray, then straighten it.

after your done straightening it, apply two more drops of the shine max.

My hair stays straight all day and all night long, it stays silky and not frizzy.

For christmas i got a new CHI straightener and really recommend it.

Its the best one i've had and it cuts down on the time it takes you to straighten your hair. It also does not fry it as much.

Hope I helped.

After I wash my hair it turns really poofy. How do I control the big poof?

1- Use a shampoo/ conditioner for dry or very hair - it will feel heavier and loose a lot of its puffiness.

2- Never wash it on the day of a big event but on the day before and sleep on it.

Hope it helps :-)

After I wash my hair it turns really poofy. How do I control the big poof?

Use Silk Drops from FX Special Effects. Its the best! You can get it at any Walgreens, CVS, etc.

After I wash my hair it turns really poofy. How do I control the big poof?

FX Silk Drops.

Whict is better for thick curly frizzy hair a big brush a small brush or a comb?

big brush but wet it under cold water first.

Whict is better for thick curly frizzy hair a big brush a small brush or a comb?

Both. First the big brush and then the small comb over it.

Whict is better for thick curly frizzy hair a big brush a small brush or a comb?

Use a course toothed comb or pick for thick curly frizzy hair. It will take out the tangles with out giving you the HUGE volume that a brush or a regular comb will - to say nothing of the painful tangles.

Whict is better for thick curly frizzy hair a big brush a small brush or a comb?

NEVER brush curly hair. It makes it frizzy. I go to school with this girl who brushes her curly hair. Her hair is so pretty when she doesnt do that. When she does, it's too poofy and the curls have no definition. You should use a pick or a wide-toothed comb. Good Luck.

Whict is better for thick curly frizzy hair a big brush a small brush or a comb?

Use a wide tooth comb. Brushes will make your hair look frizzy. Make sure you use some kind of anti-frizz serum as well....if you use water your hair will still become frizzy and dry looking you don't want that.

I'm losing hair. what can I do?

I'm only 21 years old and i'm losing hair about 2 inches from my fore head. I have been really stressed out lately. I understand that takes a big role on hair lose. But is there anything i can do to regrow it? I highly doubt its anything serious. Would it be smart for me to use rogaine or any other treatments?

I'm losing hair. what can I do?

There are severeal forms of baldenss. If it is male pattern baldness (Androgenetic alopecia) then the hairloss cannot be fully cured in most cases, but just frozen for some time with the treatments availiable on market today.

1) Hair transplant (FUE technology) creates really natural hairline, no scars, the best way to go if you have enough donor hair and money of course.

2. Propecia (Finasteride) and Minoxidil are the only ones approved by FDA and proven to work in most men so far.

they are the only FDA approved meds for male pattern baldness.

http://www.propecia.com

http://www.rogaine.com/

But before you consider to start propecia you must really study about the side effects. It can mess your hormones real bad if you are not lucky, so you must choose, hair or these side effects. Quite a big perecent have these side effects, more than Merck - the company that holds Propecia trademark is saying. see www.propeciahelp.com

Generic Propecia (finasteride) is also ok. I use it with same results, and unfortunately same sides(a bit dry feeling in the scalp) as brand propecia. Have tried lots of herbal c..p before it and laser combs, so far the only thing that prevents my hairloss, not much regrowth, but has stopped my hairloss completely.

I buy from this pharmacy for the last 2 years - http://www.1rx.biz/generic_propecia.html . It is under $1 per pill as I buy the 90 pills. (89$ for 90)

I'm losing hair. what can I do?

Head to the doctor and see if he thinks you need a pill called propecia. I work in a pharmacy and we often give it to men and women who are experiencing hair loss. It probably won't grow hair back but it will prevent future loss.

Personally right now my hair is thinning and I contribute to stress and a poor diet. I've started stretching to relieve some of my stress and bought some vitamins at GNC. The vitamins biotin, A, C, E, B3, B6, B12, Inositsol and then protein are needed for healthy hair (and skin). I bought a GNC active women vitamin (I'm sure they have men) and protein mix. I've also started eating healthier and I've found, while still thinner then normal my hair is getting better and not falling out so much.

I'm losing hair. what can I do?

Try taking Folic Acid supplements. It will help stop losing hair, but if you have hereditary hair loss, it won't make it go away.

I'm losing hair. what can I do?

Vitamins are essential for proper hair growth. For healthy sebum in the scalp we require vitamin A. Graying and loss of hair is arrested with the intake of Vitamin B6 and B12. Keratin is produced by Biotin and hair follicles are kept healthy by inositol. Panthothenic acid and Para-amino benzoic acids are also beneficial. These vitamins are present in fruits such as lemon, pineapple and strawberry and in vegetables such as potato.

http://www.askaquery.com/question/Vitami...

I'm losing hair. what can I do?

Do as the other guys say but if it really doesn't work u can always wear a wig some people who are bald are hot too

I'm losing hair. what can I do?

Ask for proscar - it's the generic propecia (costs way less). My prescription is $50 every 4months but you have to break the pill into 1/4's.

I started taking it at 24 and now 30 - my hairline hasn't receceed and may actually be fuller.

I'm losing hair. what can I do?

Try Rogaine or Propecia. these meds can help you.

Rogaine (Minoxidil) is used for promoting hair regrowth in patients who are experiencing gradually thinning hair or gradual hair loss on the top of the head.

Propecia (Finasteride) is used to treat male pattern hair loss.

Good luck!

For someone who is allergic.. does it make a difference whether a dog has short or long hair?

I'm looking into getting a dog, but my boyfriend is slightly allergic, we dont live together though. I'm really into either a Rottweiler or a Newfoundland... yeah... big difference in hair length, but does it make a difference?

For someone who is allergic.. does it make a difference whether a dog has short or long hair?

I would think short hair would affect people with allergies more than long hair. Not becasue of the length of the hair, but becasue of the shedding amount. Short hair dogs constantly shed, year round, producing more dander. Long hair dogs normally shed once or twice a year, although they will still have dander year round

EDIT: every single dog sheds, even poodles, bichons, ect. They are just extremely light shedders.

And there is no such thing as a hypoallergenic dog. Some dogs don't bother peoples allergies as bad, but it depend on person to person. EVERY dog has dander, some just have less, causing less of an allergic reaction. I work at a shelter and the second most common reason for animals being given to us is allergies. And most of the dogs given up for that reason are the bichons, lhasa apso, and poodles. Because someone with allergies was told that these dogs are hypoallergenic, then got the dog and had allergic reactions, because they listened to an uneducated person's advice that the dog was hypoallergenic

For someone who is allergic.. does it make a difference whether a dog has short or long hair?

Not really. The common allergens are found in the skin and saliva, not in the hair. The amount of grooming the dog does regularly can make some difference, but overall it's pretty hit-or-miss whether someone with a mild allergy reacts to a particular dog.

However, you should be informed that allergy reaction can increase with time and exposure. This means that you might get a dog to which your bf doesn't seem to react, but in 6 weeks, or 6 months, his reaction to the dog might worsen. Sorry.

For someone who is allergic.. does it make a difference whether a dog has short or long hair?

No. The length of hair doesn't matter as most people react to their DANDER. Dander is skin cells. If you want a large dog I think standard poodles are hypoallergenic.

For someone who is allergic.. does it make a difference whether a dog has short or long hair?

Not really because it's the dander they're allergic to. Try a mix of rottweiler mixed with a poodle or some other hypoallergenic dog. =)

For someone who is allergic.. does it make a difference whether a dog has short or long hair?

long hair agitates allergies more than long haired animals but wither way the hair will bother you. The length of the hair just determines the severity of it.

For someone who is allergic.. does it make a difference whether a dog has short or long hair?

No length of hair does not make a difference. It is the hair that sheds and dander attached to it. Make sure that you use a quality dog food and groom your dog regularly. I use Blue Buffalo and all four of our dogs shed very little now! We have a Black Lab/Retriever mix, a Beagle, a Boston Terrier and a Boston Terrier/Cattle dog mix. The Black Lab/Retriever mix used to shed the most until we switched to Blue Buffalo! Now all four dogs have minimal shedding, because they eat healthy dog food!

For someone who is allergic.. does it make a difference whether a dog has short or long hair?

Depends on his own antihistamine threshold.

While some may be allergic to certain breeds, hair coats, etc. others may not.

I'm allergic to darn near everything. The shorter the hair (JRT, Pitties, Labs etc.), the larger the rash I get. And I come across hundreds of different breeds all the time.

I'm also asthmatic and longer -haired dogs seem to trigger this more...

I think it depends all on the person.

For someone who is allergic.. does it make a difference whether a dog has short or long hair?

Honestly, a lot depends on the allergies. I know someone who is allergic to almost every dog she touches except german shepherds. I know someone with a husky and a husky/shepherd mix. The husky wreaks havok on his allergies but the mix doesn't bother him at all.

Best thing to do would be to find a responsible breeder, or a breed rescue, and ask to spend some time with the dogs and see how your boyfriend does around them.

For someone who is allergic.. does it make a difference whether a dog has short or long hair?

The length does not make a difference, though there are some dogs that shed less than others (they are often called "shedless" or "hypo-allergenic" but I assure you there is no such thing). And if the allergy is slight, it shouldnt make much of a difference whether you go with a low shedding breed or not.

For someone who is allergic.. does it make a difference whether a dog has short or long hair?

no but my dog is hypo allergenic my dad is allergic

it is called a haveanese small

or a big dog portuguese water dog

have fun

For someone who is allergic.. does it make a difference whether a dog has short or long hair?

It really depends upon the intensity of his allergies.

I'm allergic to dogs.. but have less issues with double coated dogs than with single coated ones.... and have fewer issues with dogs I'm exposed to on an ongoing basis than new dogs.

Also, I have fewer issues with dogs that have been recently bathed.

(Puppies, all puppies, sent me for a loop... I have to be sure to wash my hands frequently and remind myself not to bury my nose in their lil fuzzy bodies)

For someone who is allergic.. does it make a difference whether a dog has short or long hair?

The length doesn't really matter, because it's the dander he is really allergic too. Have you ever heard of a labradoodle? It's a cross between a labrador and a poodle. They actually don't cause allergic reactions in people with allergies. The hospital I work at uses one of them for our therapy dogs, because even the sickest kids aren't allergic to "Dr. Wooly" But make sure you get a dog that you want and aren't going to regret in the future.

For someone who is allergic.. does it make a difference whether a dog has short or long hair?

I agree with others who stated that it depends on the severity of the allergies.

I have had asthma and allergies all my life and I also have two children with allergies and asthma. We have a mutt with long hair but she doesn't shed at all. She does not bother our allergies at all. I know the allergens stem from the dander and saliva, but she does not affect us at all.

I used to own Italian Greyhounds years ago. Their coat is very short, but they triggered my allergies. I did get used to their specific dander after a few months and they rarely affected me anymore. I think you can build up a tollerance for your own animals dander.

For someone who is allergic.. does it make a difference whether a dog has short or long hair?

there are dogs that don't shed and that are dogs perfect for those with allergies, unfortunately those breeds are not one of them. I would suggest the standard poodle because they are hypoallergenic, and they r the 2nd smartest dog in the world.

Hope this helps!

For someone who is allergic.. does it make a difference whether a dog has short or long hair?

I think the longness of the hair does not really matter. My best bet is to try a hypoallergenic dog. They are usually small breeds however. The toy poodle, yorkie, maltese, bichon frise; these are all dogs that wont give you allergies. But the best dog would probbaly the bichon frise they shed no hair what so ever. No allergies, Less hair mess. Click the link below to see the bichon frise. http://www.pups4sale.co.nz/bichon_frise_...

Haircutting/ styles for short thin hair w/ bangs?

I always cut my moms hair because I am really good at it. She now has a shorter haircut, a little longer than the chin and bangs in the front which she curls under. I just dyed and highlighted her hair, and am about to cut it but I want to do something different. Any help? What can i do without making it any shorter but make it look different. Its layered a little already. And i'm afraid that if i angle it, it could appear too short and make her face look big because he hair is so thin.

I have a big forhead. Any hair suggestions?

I have a big forhead. Any hair suggestions?

bangs about as long as the middle of your eyebrows. no one will say haha 10 head or anything like that. along with your new bangs. get your hair short and layered. so if people say.. hey theres something different about you say... yeah i got my hair layred up. so you dont have to tell anyone you hvae a big forehead and you still look very very cute 閳?br>I have a big forhead. Any hair suggestions?

bangs are a classic... they never go out of style

I have a big forhead. Any hair suggestions?

Definitely bangs. But cut them just above your eyes.

I have a big forhead. Any hair suggestions?

get a side swept bang or u could just FLAUNT IT!!! what ever u chose u go girl! lol

I have a big forhead. Any hair suggestions?

get bangs and if possible, shorter lengthed hair.

I have a big forhead. Any hair suggestions?

not full bangs, the cute side swept bangs that everyone has now. they will work. Plus they're in style! You'll love them i gaurentee!

I have a big forhead. Any hair suggestions?

Dont get bangs. Like straight down bags, that just makes it look worse. Get bangs that sweep from one side of your face to the other. That should help.

I have a big forhead. Any hair suggestions?

As already mentioned by others, bangs appear to be the way to go.

Here is a webpage that has information on foreheads and bangs.

I have a big forhead. Any hair suggestions?

You should definitely get bangs. You could get the ones that cut straight across your forehead, those are classic and look good with straight or curly hair. Or, you could get the bangs that are in style right now, the ones that kind of layer away to the side of your face. Either will look good, but you should stick to the ones that go straight across the forehead, because who knows when the ''stylish'' bangs will go out of style????????????????????

Should I perm my hair even though it's damaged?

My hair is pretty damaged from coloring and perms in the past. But a while back, I cut my hair really short so the perm I had then, got cut out (It was curly). I really don't know what I was thinking. But its kinda longish now but it has no shape to it. It's neither curly or straight, it's just a big mass of hair. I'm thinking that if I go curly again, that would be an improvement. what do u think?

Should I perm my hair even though it's damaged?

most of the perm you have left is on the ends not at the scalp where you need the lift to get shape and volume to your hair. if you still have color on the ends and do perm i suggest a perm for color treated hair ( if your ends are bleached then use a perm for bleached hair it will be easier on your hair) Use a good conditioner a couple time before perming I like Bain De Tere masque for hair in poor shape. Also use a larger rod for curl size. you'll get a softer effect and less damage than a tight curly. Cut hair after the perm to help remove damaged hair and the worst will be on the ends. If you still have some curl you may try just getting a good shape up this could buy you some time to let new hair grow out a little more allowing for a better curl latter on and help get rid of the damaged hair you have now. A hair trim shape up would be my first choice if you still have a quite a bit of color on the ends( lets say 50 %) . Hope this helps

Should I perm my hair even though it's damaged?

if its less then a week since u permed ur hair then dont do it or if its less then a week for both then dont do it but like if its more then 1 week then do it if not then dont do it ur hair will fall out.

Should I perm my hair even though it's damaged?

If your hairs damaged you should wait awhile. It's better to have a mass of hair than to be bald.

Should I perm my hair even though it's damaged?

if you perm it it will fall out its best for you to just get it trimed and flat iron

Should I perm my hair even though it's damaged?

only if you think bald is beautiful

Should I perm my hair even though it's damaged?

i think if you perm your hair you shouldn't color it or perm it again or it will just get damaged and you will have to cut it again. hope that helps.

Should I perm my hair even though it's damaged?

Be careful with perming damaged hair. It could literally dissolve in processing. Perhaps a good cut and style is in order along with plenty of conditioning.

Should I perm my hair even though it's damaged?

woah you have serious issues with your hair, I say go natural, its good for your hair and it'll look great. Just make sure to use some hairspray =3

Should I perm my hair even though it's damaged?

If your hair is damaged, don't perm at all. Period. You'll only make the damage worse. Please keep in mind that when your hair is damaged, the only way to truly repair it is to grow it out.

Should I perm my hair even though it's damaged?

DO NOT PERM YOUR HAIR! It is the most damaging thing you can do to your hair. You hair will never recover....it eventually has to be cut out to return it to fair condition. Have you ever tried wrapping your hair around a curling iron, instead of the normal way of curling? It leaves a very natural looking curl. It may make your daily routine longer, but your hait will thank you.

Should I perm my hair even though it's damaged?

Dont do any more damage to your hair because it can break and you'lll lose your hair. I 'm not joking

Should I perm my hair even though it's damaged?

No you should not. Leave it alone and let it grow out for awhile.

Should I perm my hair even though it's damaged?

you can if you use this first.

she has her hairstylist tease or backcomb her hair.

they can also add hair extentions or weaves

How does amy winehouse get her hair so big?

Either she has a stylist to do it for her (backcombing), or she's wearing tracks to make her hair appear thicker.

Extensions

Hair Pieces

Wefts...... we use fake hair pieces in everything....the actresses/rock stars use them both for the effect and to protect their own hair....and I don't blame them....

How does amy winehouse get her hair so big?

I personally think it could be a wig, If not i think she must have a lot done to it and way too much hairspray. I don't think you should try to get it as big because too much hairspray can damage your hair.

How does amy winehouse get her hair so big?

she keeps her stash of drugs there

How does amy winehouse get her hair so big?

well she probably has very short layers at the top of her head, which immediately gives her hair volume. and the she back combs it really good with an extremely strong hair spray.

Help! my hair is falling off, wat should i do?

recently i hav noticed that my hair is falling off....alot like a big ball of hair about the size of my palm and im only 13! ple help me!

Help! my hair is falling off, wat should i do?

Sweetie don't stress too much. Do you know when you are born, you have one set of hair and then as you get older, you get "adult hair". Whoever said the average hair loss per day is 100 strands is absolutely right. I am in my mid-30's and I still lose about a small handful a day. It's been like this since I was a young teen also. You are not going to go bald. However, if you do start to notice thin spots, I would recommend seeing the doctor as there could be underlying medical problems. But from what you've said, it's just nature's way of keeping healthy hair on your head. Hope this helps...I know the teenage years are stressful enough.

You are probably suffering from alopecia. There are treatments for it. Please ask your parents to take you to a dermatologist or your pediatrician!

Help! my hair is falling off, wat should i do?

Omg! That is so weird because I was just about to ask what to do about that cause my hair has been falling out too, and I'm only 16! I don't know what to do. sorry I can't help you, I don't even know what to do myself!

Help! my hair is falling off, wat should i do?

if it is breaking off, thats because it is damaged, don't mess with color or perms and it will grow out, if it is falling out from your head that might be stress or lack of vitamins

Help! my hair is falling off, wat should i do?

Sounds like your hair is just going through it's cycle of growing. Keep it clean and brush it twice a day. use conditioner every other day and make sure it has vitamin enriched formula. You might ask your parents to buy a different type of shampoo and conditioner. Good luck and I'm sorry to hear about that. Stay away from radioactive materials and ask your mom. she knows best.

Help! my hair is falling off, wat should i do?

Nice answer beth %26amp; carla and dishwasher (??) ....NOT.

It could be hormones...you're a teen, so it could be that, or stress or environment.

You do realize, of course that the average person loses about 100 strands a day? Don't worry about it too much unless it's becomes noticable (like bald spots or excessive thinning).

Try not brushing your hair as often (like only 1 or 2 x a day), washing it only every other day, and using a good conditioner in the shower %26amp; leave it on to condition the scalp along with your hair.

Finally, when you do brush it, start at the bottom %26amp; work your way up, rather than from scalp to ends - it puts less stress on the strands %26amp; roots.

Help! my hair is falling off, wat should i do?

You could have allopecia. You need to see a dermatologist. Don't wait.

Help! my hair is falling off, wat should i do?

Go see your doctor to get a physical to make sure that everything is ok like your blood counts and stuff like that. There could be something wrong with your health, I don't want to scare you. Best thing is to go to a doctor and check yourself to make sure everything is ok.

Help! my hair is falling off, wat should i do?

tell ur mom and who is dr.asap?

Help! my hair is falling off, wat should i do?

Do you have a bald patch from it? If so, make an appointment with your doctor ASAP. It could be your thyroid gland is malfunctioning or a skin infection or what they call Alopecia.

If you have no bald patches, relax. Hair grows and sheds in cycles and it's normal to lose 100 strands of hair a day.

Help! my hair is falling off, wat should i do?

off or out! If its yours try hair %26amp; nail vitamins
