Try using Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine shampoo. Also, straightening your hair is probably making it worse. Your should probably leave it natural a few days out of the week, and even let it air dry sometimes, to avoid heat damage.

Put a frizz serum/lotion in it after you've towel dried it. That should keep a lot of the poof down and moisture from locking into your hair.

Also try using good shampoos and conditioners meant for taming the beast we call frizzy hair. Lots of lines now carry products meant to control moisture, and poofyness.

use a lot of conditioner on your hair and leave in treatment.. also after you sleep its true your hair does go down or reduce the frizziness a bit!! use lots of gloss and serums and get regular trims! that would help with the split ends

i agree w/ the sleeping on it thing; i have curly hair and it works wonders to go to sleep w/ wet hair. also, getting a haircut can probably help this out; get rid of the split ends, and have your hairdresser put layers in it. finally, make sure to use conditioner, rinse it out well, and follow up w/ a moisturizing cream like garnier's smoothing milk.

there's also stuff like hot oil treatments and putting avocado in your hair that helps moisturize it really well, too.

-TCB Lite Scalp %26amp; Oil Hair Conditioning (it's grease lol)

-Hawaiian Silky Dry Oil Moisturizer (this is only good if you dont intend to curl your hair as this product is intended for jheri curls but it leave the hair soft and silky.

-African Essence Oil of Essence (black and gold bottle-smells great)

-IC Hair Polisher Heat Protector Straghtening Serum (In a Pink Bottle)

-Kemy Oil (expensive but worth it.

I would also suggesting getting those split ends trimmed; will help your hair grow and stop the splitting. As someone who hates to see any of her hair cut I know this is a hard concept to follow but it will help :-)

lately i've been using several different product.

They are kinda spendy but totally worth it.

Pureology Antifade complex- Shine Max

Pureology Antifade complex- Super Straight

Biolage- Thermal active setting spray

once you've washed your hair, brush through it.

Apply two drops of the shine max to damp hair, Then apply the Super straight, right before you blow dry your hair give it a few sprays of the thermal spray.

Blow dry your hair. Once done give your hair a few more sprays of the thermal spray, then straighten it.

after your done straightening it, apply two more drops of the shine max.

My hair stays straight all day and all night long, it stays silky and not frizzy.

For christmas i got a new CHI straightener and really recommend it.

Its the best one i've had and it cuts down on the time it takes you to straighten your hair. It also does not fry it as much.

2- Never wash it on the day of a big event but on the day before and sleep on it.
