Dark Brown hair...What color highlights should I get??

I have naturaly dark brown hair (still do now) with kind of pale-ish skin and I was wanting to make a big change! My hair is so boring...I realy wanted to do something crazy like dark caramel highlights and a few pink highlights (NOT BIG HUGE ONES BUT ENOUGH SO YOU CAN SEE A LITTLE BIT OF PINK) Now I have a perm in my hair but I usualy just straighten it and its long and layered...ANY IDEAS WOULD BE APPRECIATED!!

you should try for a warm gold or honey colour. this will really compliment the brown of your hair and bring out a golden hue in your skin.

ok well first i LOVE the idea of dark caramel highlights,but im not too sure about pink ones. (tehy might be a lil bit dratic,but if thats what your looking for then go for it) i think hat if ur ahir is dark brown,either go with a caramel color,or maybe like copper. try going on google and you can find a website where you can load yuour pic and try diffeerent hairstyles so that you know what you are getting yourself into when you go to the salon.
