Curling your hair with a big curling iron...?

Does it work if you want big, loose waves/curls? Does it only work with long hair, or can it work with hair that's a couple inches past the shoulders? How do you use it?

thanks

Curling your hair with a big curling iron...?

Yep I'm able to get big, loose waves using a big curling iron. I do have very long hair so I don't know how it works with shorter hair. This website is great! She gives a bunch of video tutorials on curling your hair. http://pursebuzz.com/?page_id=14

Curling your hair with a big curling iron...?

finally a GOOD question. thank you!! :)

anyway... for me a large barrel curling iron only works to curl the ends out or in. i can't get it to curl my hair into loose waves or curls. i would suggest using hot rollers or depending on how well your hair takes curling you can use a medium barrel curling iron and then run your fingers through it several times.

The larger the barrel, the looser and bigger the curl you will achieve. A large barrel is better for longer hair and will work on your hair.

To use, clamp the root area in the barrel and gently twist the iron. Leave for no more than 10 seconds, leave to cool and tease with your fingers. Always use a heat protection product!

Never use hairspray before applying heat directly to the hair.
