idk the length of your hair, but i have long hair with many layers. At the top of my head i roll them under to produce volume at the top. Once you get to the bottom layers it doesnt really matter as much because I have a lot of hair (i use every single one in the set and sometimes need to re-use a few). Experiment with some hot rollers on an off day and see whats best for u!

I MOST OF THE TIME PUT THEM IN THE TOP THEN WORK MY WAY DOWN THEN TO THE BACK LEAVE THEM IN FOR ABOUT 15MINUTES THE LONGER YOU LEAVE THEM IN THE LONGER THEY WILL STAY.
