After getting hair thinned???...?

I just got my hair thinned and i hate it, i have naturally wavy frizzy hair and i went to get it highlighted and she thinned it out. I have always been told to never thin frizzy hair and the most important thing is that i do not like it. It makes my head look big,lol because i am used to my "big hair" generally how long does it take to thicken up? is it just like how long it takes for the thinned peices to grow? thanks

yeh wait fror them to grow and have it cut agian, cutting the long parts for a one level cut :)

I personally do not believe in thinning out hair especially curly hair....My theory is ....little old ladies get their hair thinnned to make their hair look fuller Why would someone with thick or curly hair want to make their hair look fuller???????? They don't! I guess some hairdressers missed the class on how to make hair look thinner.....it certainly was not to thin hair out....when I was a kid I figured this out.....my Mom used to ask the hairdresser to thin my hair out and TA-DAH I would look like BOZO The Clown for a few weeks! It did not take too many hair cuts for me to figure out what was wrong! Thankfully my Mom listened to me and stopped asking for my hair to be thinned! Still today I have a full head of hair and refuse to thin it out instead I have it layered, much easier to deal with....I am sorry but you just have to wait till it grows out to meet the ends....keep getting trims.....
