Paid big money to get my hair colored by an expert, and hate the color and told her, what do I do?

I'm usually blonde, blonde, and where I work a professional hairdresser came in and said, let me do your hair, who does it..I told her I do, and she said, let me do it, you will be pleased, you want your hair to look natural not fake...I told her no brown, she put brown in it, I hate it, I look dull, and saw her the day she did it, and told her I hate it, and my kids hate it, and all my friends hate it...but, you can't put color over color...she said give it a week to adjust and then call her...should I, I know I am not going to like it in a week, this was Sat. I got it done...and noone likes it...it's just not me...do I demand my money back, or let it go and start doing it again myself...or is there something I can put on that won't hurt my hair to bring more gold at least too it so it won't look so dull, I look like I have greyish hair now...with streaks, I hate it...do I let it go, and wait 6 weeks and redo it, or call her and make her do something, or tell her I want my money back?

I HEAR YOU!!! GOT MY HAIR DONE 2 WEEKS BEFORE MY WEDDING... asked for no grey, and blonde hi lites... got red red red !!! I was there from 3pm til midnight...YEAH%26lt; MIDNIGHT!!! she told me if i didnt like it, let her know and every time i did... surprised my hair didnt fall out!!! 6 times this ***** did my hair ... paid 80 plus$20 tip(i felt bad for her) ( huh? its my hair and my wedding!!!) asked for BLONDE HI LITES!!! she said the same thing to me!!! YOU DONT WANT TO BE A BLONDY BLONDE!!! THE NEXT MORNING WAS SUNDAY AND EVERY ONE IN THIS 2BY 4 TOWN IS A CHURCH, SO MONDAY MORNING I WENT to the salon... she was off (she was opening her own salon!!! not while i was unhappy!!!) so i marched my fat *** to her NEW salon and told her I WANT MY MONEY BACK, AND MY TIP!!($20.00) SHE SAID SHE WAS SORRY REFUNDED ALL MY $ AND GAVE ME A BAG OF FREEBIES. WHICH I REFUSED...

MORAL OF THE STORY. I SHOULD HAVE GOT UP AND WALKED OFF THE 2ND TIME MY COLOR WASNT RIGHT NOT THE 6TH...

i wasnt asking for nothing that i couldnt do at home, because ive done it, i figured im getting married, let me treat myself...not!

this woman must have been colorblind, because i went to another salon the next day, and had done exactly what i asked for...

GIRLFRIEND... DONT WAIT A WEEK... THEY TELL YOU THAT, BECAUSE YOUR COLOR WILL LIGHTEN, BUT IT WONT BE WHAT YOU WANT AND THEY HOPE THAT IN A WEEK YOULL FORGET ABOUT IT... MARCH YOUR *** INTO THAT SALON AND DEMAND YOUR 4 BACK... TELL HER YOU ARE UNHAPPY AND YOU WANT YOUR $ BACK... THATS IT CUT AND DRY!!! DONT LET HER RE DO IT.. A PRO SHOULD HAVE GOT IT RIGHT THE 1ST TIME... MAKE SURE YOU GET YOUR TIP BACK TOO SHE DOESNT DESERVE ONE (a tip is for a revice preformed and she didnt get it right)

get the pro in your town... tell them what happened... i promise shell/hell do you right ... dont mess with yourhair yourself. the results could be worse than what you have because the over the counter stuff is not as strong as the stuff in the salon... let a REAL pro DO IT...

dont forgetLET THEM KNOW WHAT HAPPENED... THEYLL DEFINETLY GET IT RIGHT... AFTER ALL THIS IS A BUSINESS AND MOST HAIRDRESSERS LIVE OFF THE INCOME THEY MAKE FROM THEIR CLIENTS... GOOD LUCK!!!!!

Well, you probably should demand a refund. If you color it again, it will seriously damage your hair, so just let it grow out and wait for a bit. When it fades you should probably color it again, but this time go to a real salon with people who let you choose the exact color you want. that way you can have a professional look, but in your style.

She is the expert and she made a promise that she didn't keep so , let her do it. She can put it back where you had it and liked it and it will bebetter if she does it. It does need time to get better though. So, do call her and ask her what she thinks about doing it back, will it be healthy and will it be ok to do it. Or will she honor the agreement in a few weeks if that wopuld be better for your hair. You don't want your hair to fall out. Good luck.

maybe you sould at least sonsult with another hairdresser and see what they think. really, you don't want anyone doing your hair that won't listen to you. So, chances are , this hairdresser won't get it right a second time either. I wouldn't worry about getting your money back. Just consider it a lesson learned, because the trouble probably won't be worth it.

Go to another hairdresser and show them a pic of you when your hair was the way you like it.

Sometimes with color you haf to give it awhile to take the color you really want.I went and told the lady I wanted fire enginr red with congac and the color looked almost pink, but after a few washes and the sun hitting it,it turned out really nice.

Most places guarantee their work. Talk to them, calmly, and attempt to work out a solution. If they aren't willing to refund, or do it right (they may not be able to do it so quickly after you have gotten it colored this time), then take your business elsewhere. If none of this works, talk to the owner or manager and ask for a refund from them. If you are not pleased, they should not be charging you.

Go back to another excellent hair stylist and have her put the color back...since it sounds like you really liked it before.(Bring in photos of you before this mess-up). Ask for the owner of a good salon, they usually have more experience. I wouldn't let this new hairstylist touch you again! She obviously wanted to make you look like she wants you to look, but you don't like it bottom line. Unless your strapped for cash, if it's under $200, I'd just let it go. To me it's not worth the hassle but she'll probably want to work on your hair again and I wouldn't let her!

You could try to get the money back if you want a headache...but don't let her touch your hair. Good luck.

p.s. From your description it sounds like the color is not good for your skin tone.
