How to make straight hair wavy?

I really want my hair to look wavy somedays, those big wavy curls.

right now my hair is really thick blonde, when its blow-dried or not straightened its usually poofy and just a mess. I usually straighten it everyday to make it look nice but im tried of the same look. Its angled and layered. I have below the eyebrow lenth bangs on one side and the layers are short around the bottom of my earlobe lenth. (around my whole head kinda piecy look). my hair ends an inch or a little more below my collar bone.

i've tried wetting it and curly bun but then it just looks poofy when i wake up and i've tried braiding also poofy look. Whenever i scrunch it, my hair dries and poofs. even if i use alot of gell so its poofy in some parts and crunchy in others.

what can i do?! please helpp

I have the same problem as you do! I've always had limp, fine, straight hair and ive been dying for an easy way to get waves without the crunch or the poof. Ive never been able to achieve it until yesterday! I used a shampoo and conditioner for curly hair first. Then I got marc anthony strictly curls curl defining lotion, used it all over my wet hair, scrunched, and left it to air dry. I finally got nice waves without the poof! you're going to have to try rollers or the curling iron. Both will take a long time so I hope you have patience. Another thought is maybe get a perm that way you can always have the curls, but you can straighten it once in a while if you wanted also!

then i permed it.

[[just keep it curly for atleast 2 weeks.

and then you can straighten it again

but if you get it one day and 2 days'z later straighten it. it will pull the perm out of your hair.

but if you wait a few weeks you will be able to straighten it. and when you wet [[wash]] it it will become curly again.

or if you dont want a perm. french braide it before you go to bed. that way it will be wavy/curly[[depending on how tight the braid is]] [[the tighter the curlier]]

or put curlers in. [[wrap snap and go is great]]
