Styled big, curvy, wavy hair?

No, but go to any small town down South, and they'll whip you up that styled, big, curvy, and wavy hair in the time it takes to whip up a Mint Julep (you'll need a drink after you get your hair done!).

how to get big hair is to tease it, and u tease it by spraying hairspray on your hair, then running a brush towards your head, making it bigger and bigger...

to get curly hair, you can just curl your hair wiht a curling iron, or scrunch it when you get out of the shower...

and to get wavy hair, you simply follow these instructions!

Making waves

One of the simplest ways to get pretty waves is to use large-barreled curling irons (as they are now more fashionably called). Mathew Soobroy, Salon Manager at Charles Worthington's Percy Street salon, London W1 (0207 631 1370) gives these step-by-step tips:

Starting at the nape of the neck, divide your clean, dry hair into chunky sections, spraying them with a heat-protective styling product.

Comb through each section so the product is evenly distributed .

Clamp your curling irons over the ends of the section and wind them up the length of the hair, stopping about four inches from the scalp.

This will ensure a loose, modern look

Leave the curling irons in the hair for five seconds then gently unwind and repeat the process, working from the back of the head around to the front, until all of your hair has been curled .

Carefully use your fingers to break up sections of larger curls for a softer look.

Finish with shine-enhancing serum or hairspray

Yeah sure, Big and curly hair can look so bad some of the times. But I have some really good hairstyles here which looks really good on wavy hair, have a look at them and see which ones are good for your hair:

How to style it and make it less frizzy and smoother/silkier:

Before you shampoo and condition, apply fruit juice mixtures onto your hair.

First shampoo and condition your hair very well.

Second use a roller brush and continuosly brush it by splitting your hair into small sections. You can use hair rollers to get fine curls and bangs for a great look.

And apply a smooth shine gel or spray to get rid of the frizz.

Hope this helps!

Or ask your hairdresser for the look you wanted!!

I have thick natuarl curly hair. There are not very many styles that actually work. See my profile. this is the only style that I can actually wear.
